Dating Story #1

I have been on dating app(s) since 2018, but I have been on and off different apps, like Bubble, Tantan, Tinder, Hinge, and Facebook dating. I've got to say I have my fair share of stories that came out of the boys / men I have met throughout the years. From sharing it here, making this feels like a safe space to share some stories. For privacy purposes, I will change all the names...

I figure I would start with my official first fun story that involved a guy I was talking online over on Tantan. I matched with Andrew among one of the first guy that I have matched with. Andrew is older than me by 3 years and generally a nice guy to chat with over online. As remembered, he plays the piano, has tattoos, and checked in everyday. He also added me over Wechat as well. We never met up in person, but we had some nice chats. As everyone know that Tantan is mainly used for hookups and short-term relationships. Later in summer, I started to work a seasonal job at Canada's Wonderland as a lifeguard. During the lifeguard training, I have met some interesting people. Somehow, I ended up meeting Andrew's girlfriend K, and she hit me up with "Hey L, it's nice to meet you, I've heard from you from Andrew!" I was stunned and as a young 18-year-old, I didn't react much except I have to work with her for the whole summer. She turned out to be a great person. They ended up getting married and had a baby. That definitely leaves a mark on my dating life. That is not all of it. Dating stories to be continued...
